We want all of our patients to feel confident in the way they look. For some people, all they need is a teeth whitening treatment or porcelain veneers to love what they see in the mirror. Other patients are bothered by the appearance of their skin. Signs of aging make them feel self-conscious. We are here to help! Our advanced Fotona Lightwalker technology can do much to dramatically improve the look of your neck, lips, and facial skin.
Collagen is a structural protein in the human body that is partially responsible for the smooth, plump appearance of skin in young people. Unfortunately, as we age, collagen production greatly slows down. Starting somewhere between the ages of 25 and 30, the amount of collagen in the human body begins to decline. At first, the decline may hardly be noticeable because it is so gradual. As the years pass, however, a lack of collagen results in sagging skin and thin lips.
The Fotona Lightwalker uses a laser to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, causing it to produce more collagen. While this takes longer than more invasive treatments, such as fillers, it is more natural, totally noninvasive, and produces longer-lasting results.
The purpose of LipLase is to stimulate the natural production of collagen in your lips and produce a fuller, plumper pout. We typically recommend that patients undergo 2 – 3 treatments for lip plumping in Weatherford, each of which takes about 30 minutes to complete. The treatments are spaced 21 days apart. Normally, it costs $500 for two sessions. Now, however, we a are running a special that allows you to get two sessions for just $400 — and you can enjoy a third session for only $100 more!
Just like the Fotona Lightwalker laser can stimulate your body’s natural healing processes to improve your appearance, it can also aid in wound healing and pain relief. Photobiomodulation, otherwise known as PBM or Low Level Laser Therapy, harnesses the power of visible red to near-infrared light to boost cell metabolism and stimulate the production of your body’s natural wound-healing compounds. PBM has been shown to speed up soft tissue regrowth and aid in the relief of both acute and chronic pain.
